CONVENCIONAL “HEAD-DOWN” STATIC LOADING TEST
The test consists, basically, of applying load increments to the pile by jacking against a reaction with one or more hydraulic jacks and recording the corresponding movements.
The reaction is provided by one of the following methods:
- Reaction Frame.
- Weighted Box or Platform.
- Ground anchors.
The effort applied can be axial, traction or compression, or cross-section.
